The 2010 Bridal Fashion Week in Barcelona was recently concluded at the Gran Via Precinct Fira. This year’s event showcased an impressive selection of Spanish wedding dress designers like Rosa Clara, Pronovias, Pepe Botello, and Franc Sarabia. Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week also featured international designers at the Salón Internacional Noviaespaña. I thought you girls might appreciate the dresses and accessories that caught my attention. The dramatic white dress above is by Francis Monesinos and features exaggerated puff sleeves and an asymmetrical hemline. It’s not a particularly wearable wedding dress, but it does look great on the runway.

Pronovias is one of the biggest names in Spanish bridal fashion and it’s easy to see why. Romantic ruffles and lace dominate the spring 2011 collection, but these are successfully balanced out with high slits that show a bit of skin.
