A beach themed wedding is the perfect way to combine both your wedding and honeymoon destination into one location. This type of wedding can be an intimate gathering with just a handful of people or a large group setting of 100 or more guests. The wedding should be kept natural by utilizing the surrounding landscape as the main focal point. Because a beach wedding is outdoors, one should consider a backup plan for minor and major weather disturbances.

Once the proposal has been accepted, the next important issue is where to have the wedding. A beach is a great choice for those who enjoy the beauty of the sea or want a location that holds special meaning or significance. For couples who have to travel, the beach destination can minimize costs by serving as a combined wedding and honeymoon. Warm geographical locations with minimal weather interferences are often sought after by couples. Some of the most popular beach wedding locations are the Bahamas, Aruba, Jamaica, the Florida Keys and Hawaii.
